Mobile Web Continues Expansion
January 30th, 2008 | by BrettYouTube, the popular video sharing site, just announced a mobile version of the site. m.youtube.com is geared toward 3G phones capable of streaming video so it looks like that rules out my Blackberry (according to the R/WW site) but the fact that YouTube has gone mobile is another indication of the trend toward mobile computing.
Agency Fusion Floats to the Top (Literally)
January 28th, 2008 | by Agency FusionRecognizing five years of successful business is a great feeling. Indoor skydiving is, naturally, a close second. What better way to celebrate than by merging the two?
Agency Fusion did just that this January. To mark the fifth anniversary of the company, CEO Brett Derricott took the crew to iFly for an eventful indoor-skydiving session. Everyone enjoyed their time in the tunnel, which involved flying, flailing, and mouth clenching in an effort to keep spit from escaping. Which was hard to do because let’s be honest; how do you not smile in one of those things?
FocusMinded.com Interview
January 25th, 2008 | by BrettI recently had an opportunity to do an interview with FocusMinded.com, a great resource for web designers. You can read the interview on their website as well as find great articles on creating, maintaining, and growing your web design business.
Bad Designer Threads
January 14th, 2008 | by BrettHere is a cool new site featuring t-shirts that make fun of bad designs or bad designers. Those of you who’ve seen our Make My Logo Bigger Cream video know that we’re in favor of poking fun of bad design and bad clients so this t-shirt site is right up our alley. Maybe you’ll like it too.
I think it’s a relatively new company so take a look at their site and support them if you see a shirt that strikes a nerve. Seriously, the Comic Sans t-shirt is right on. I’d celebrate for a week if that font were removed from the earth.

Create Magazine Features Agency Fusion CEO
January 1st, 2008 | by Agency FusionCreate Magazine, a publication dedicated to, you guessed it, creatives, recently asked our CEO Brett Derricott to author their Surf column, which appeared in the January/February 2008 issue for the Southwest region. The purpose of Surf is to identify and analyze great web design. They liked his piece so much they asked him to contribute another one! Keep your eyes peeled for his next Surf column in the May issue.
