Logo Pond is a new community site where designers can upload logos and view logos created by others. Pitched as providing “identity inspiration,” the site allows you to browse logos created by other designers, leave feedback/comments on each logo, and rate logos using a 5-star system.

Discovered a good article which discusses the trade-off and compromises required to create a great user interface.

User Interface Design Presentation

The Utah PHP User Group will be meeting this Thursday, July 20th at 7 p.m. for a presentation and discussion on web user interface design and programming. It appears that the presentation will cover both designing and building great interfaces.

It seems like opportunity abounds for flat brochure-ware website designs but many designers don’t have much opportunity to design product (web application) interfaces, which requires more of a usability bent.
